Hey there - guess you arrived safe and sound and are enjoying being a tourist for a bit before the heavy work starts! Having a personal tour guide sounds like the perfect way to see the country - how lucky for you! The view from lunch/supper is very nice, can't wait to see more. And oh, what a surprise that you bought art!! I think we'd be very surprised if you didn't buy at least one, but I expect there will be more purchased, whether it be art for the wall or art of some sort for the curio cabinet. Sounds like a hair dryer and curling iron would be a waste of time there, and when on vacation, who needs them! I take it, it is very humid by your comments, that I can live without.
